Een reis van 360 km overwegend op gravelwegen door de zandbak van Namibi\u00eb. En steeds een felle zon. Een soort Paris-Dakar om-standigheden zou je kunnen zeggen. Dus konden we tot die tijd rustig aan doen. Toen we na het ontbijt op het balkon zaten te genieten van de prachtige omgeving met o.a. de rotsformatie Vingerklip, zagen we 2 klipspringers van rotsblok naar rotsblok springen. De Nature Drive ging eerst met de auto naar de Vingerklip (het laatste stuk lopen).\u00a0 Onze gids Wilhelm vertelde veel over het ontstaan van het landschap: de Gondwana. Op de terugweg naar de lodge hadden we zowaar een regenbui.\u00a0 De zondag\u00a0 was\u00a0 een\u00a0 dag\u00a0 zonder\u00a0 speciale\u00a0 activiteiten. &#8217;s Morgens op weg naar het ontbijt vielen ons de vele rookpluimen in de omgeving op. Dat kwam omdat men daar houtskool aan het maken was. We hebben er echt een luie dag van gemaakt. Omdat de lodge hoog gelegen is heb je prachtig zicht op de omgeving wat een verblijf al de moeite waard maakt. Verder hebben we deze dag besteed aan o.a. foto&#8217;s maken van de vele vogels die hier rondscharrelen, wat zwemmen in het mooie zwembad,\u00a0 wandelen in de omgeving en zo bezocht Ger de camping die hier wat verderop ligt.
